We are regretful, yet joyful to announce Dr. Charles Sidlow’s retirement from the practice of podiatry. Dr. Sidlow has worked as a podiatrist for 35 years. Although he will be greatly missed at the office of Ankle & Foot Centers of Georgia – Cartersville, we wish him much luck in the future endeavors he pursues. He has added much value to our office and has our unending support. Below is a letter Dr. Sidlow has written for you:
Dear Patients,
It is with a mixture of sadness and joy that I announce my retirement from the practice of medicine, as of December 2021. While I am looking forward to having the opportunity to spend more time with my wife, children, grandchildren; and to travel and pursue other interests, and I will miss the challenges and rewards of Podiatry. It has been a pleasure and a great privilege to provide care for all of you over the years.
I hope that going forward, you will continue to seek foot care with Dr. McLemore and Dr. DiStefano at our office where your patient records will be kept. Please come in and meet Dr. Joseph DiStefano who joined our practice on November 8, 2021. Both Doctors are exceedingly knowledgeable and compassionate, and I know they can provide you with the same level of care and service that you are used to receiving. If you choose to see a different provider, please go to our website www.AnkleAndFootCenters.com where you will find details regarding record requests and transfers to your new provider of choice. If you choose to continue to be seen by Dr. McLemore or Dr. DiStefano, no action by you is required.
Thank you again for allowing me to serve your medical needs and to be part of you and your family’s lives over the years. I will treasure the memories and will be forever grateful for the enduring friendships. I have enjoyed a wonderful and rewarding career to look back on as I look forward to the future. To review what Dr. Sidlow said, if you wish to continue care in our office here at Ankle & Foot Centers of Georgia – Cartersville, you do not need to do a thing. However, if you would like to go elsewhere for your next foot exam, you are free to do so. If you would like your complete medical record faxed or emailed to another Doctor’s office or yourself, please fill out the medical release form on our website. If you need hard copies of these medical records printed and provided to you, there are the usual and customary charges for doing so.
