We are pleased to announce the promotion of Dr. Naim Shaheed from Vice Chief of Staff to Chief of Staff at Dekalb Medical Center/Hillandale. Dr. Shaheed is a practicing podiatrist and has been on staff at Dekalb Medical Center/Hillandale since it’s inception.
During his tenure with Ankle & Foot Centers of Georgia and Dekalb Medical – Hillandale, Dr. Shaheed has implemented protocols which have improvedefficiency in the department and quality of care and has frequently been recognized for outstanding achievement. Dr. Shaheed is one of the few Podiatrist in the nation that serves as chief of staff in a major Hospital setting.
Dr. Naim Shaheed is a native of Georgia. He has been in private practice in Metro Atlanta area since 1991. Dr. Shaheed’s professional interests are sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery. He is on the Board of Directors for the 100 Black Men of DeKalb. He is also part of the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity.
