We are delighted to announce the newest member of the Ankle & Foot Centers family. We would like to welcome Dr. Richard Kaufman.
A native of Boston, Dr. Richard Kaufman now resides in Alpharetta with his family. He attended medical school at Temple University, where he earned his medical degree in 2015. Dr. Kaufman then went on to complete an all-encompassing Reconstructive Foot & Ankle Surgery residency program at Drexel University College of Medicine/Hahnemann University Hospital, a 496-bed level 1 trauma hospital located in Philadelphia, where he had the privilege of serving as chief resident during his final year.
Dr. Kaufman’s expertise includes all aspects of foot and ankle care including simple and complex deformity management/reconstruction, conservative and surgical intervention of traumatic injuries, cosmetic forefoot/bunion surgery, ankle arthroscopy, joint implants, diabetic limb salvage, wound care, and sports medicine. While not practicing podiatry, Dr. Kaufman is an avid distance runner and passionate skier and enjoys spending time with extended family residing here in the Metro-Atlanta area.
Dr. Kaufman is currently seeing patients at our Roswell Office and is accepting new patients and accepts most insurance plans.
