New Physician Brings Limb Salvage Expertise to Patients 

Expertise in Limb Salvage and Advanced Podiatric Care

At the VA Center, Srinivas was completing a prestigious medical fellowship in limb salvage, specialized podiatric care that repairs and restores blood supply, tissues and muscles so that patients can avoid amputation and maintain the mobility and functionality of their legs and feet. Srinivas was training with experts from Emory University’s Morehouse School of Medicine’s Vascular Surgery and Podiatric Medicine departments.

While she is a fellowship-trained foot and ankle surgeon, Srinivas says she is focused on comprehensive podiatric care that focuses on both preventive and corrective treatments.

“I strive to improve mobility, alleviate pain, and enhance overall quality of life for my patients, with personalized care plans that are tailored to each patient’s unique needs and use the latest advancements in our field.”

Academic Excellence and Leadership

Srinivas brings an impressive academic and professional background to Ankle & Foot Centers of America. She holds a master’s degree in physiology and biophysics from Georgetown University. She also served as chief resident at Geisinger Community Medical Center. Srinivas is active in the American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA) and the American Board of Podiatric Medicine. She has contributed to several research initiatives in the field.

Her specialty in limb salvage is increasingly important. As we’ve previously noted, diabetes can create severe issues for the feet and legs, and sometimes advanced care is required to preserve the limb. Srinivas adds to Ankle & Foot Centers of America’s ability to provide comprehensive, high-quality care across all levels of foot and ankle health.
