Dr. Vishal Patel

Vishal Patel, DPM, DABPM

Dr. Vishal R. Patel, a Board-Certified podiatrist, is originally from New Jersey and earned his BA in Biological Sciences with a minor in Psychology from Rutgers University. He then obtained his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) from Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine in Miami Shores, Florida. Dr. Patel completed his surgical residency in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery, with a specialization in Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery, at Hackensack Meridian Palisades Medical Center, where he served as Chief Resident. He is a member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and the American Podiatric Medical Association. Dr. Patel specializes in a wide range of foot and ankle conditions, including elective forefoot surgery (bunion and hammertoe treatments), rearfoot reconstructive surgery, diabetic limb salvage, sports medicine, and Charcot reconstruction. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Patel enjoys playing and watching sports, hiking, visiting dog parks, and cooking with his fiancée. Together, they hope to make Atlanta their lifelong home.

Morton’s Neuroma is a painful condition that affects the ball of the foot, causing burning or tingling sensations, especially between the toes. Our team provides non-surgical treatments like padding, footwear adjustments, and corticosteroid injections to relieve pressure and reduce inflammation.
