About Dr. Lewis
Dr. Evan Lewis specializes in the comprehensive treatment of foot and ankle conditions, with advanced expertise in both surgical and non-surgical care. His clinical focus includes ankle fractures, foot and ankle arthritis, bunions, foot deformities such as flatfoot and cavus foot, wound care, and the management of complex diabetic foot wounds.
Dr. Lewis offers a broad range of surgical services, including sports medicine injuries of the foot and ankle, ankle and foot fracture repair, joint replacements and fusions, bunion and hammertoe correction, flatfoot and cavus foot reconstruction, amputations, and minimally invasive foot and ankle surgery techniques.
In addition to surgical care, Dr. Lewis provides non-surgical treatment for common and complex conditions such as plantar and digital warts, nail fungus (onychomycosis), athlete’s foot (tinea pedis), venous stasis disease, lymphedema, plantar fasciitis, and Achilles tendonitis.
Dr. Lewis completed a three-year surgical residency at McLaren Oakland Hospital in Pontiac, Michigan, with a focus on reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery. A native of Tennessee, he previously practiced in the greater Nashville area and currently serves patients in Marietta and Canton, Georgia.
He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from the University of Tennessee and his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in North Chicago, Illinois.
Dr. Lewis maintains hospital privileges and surgical affiliations with Northside Cherokee Hospital, Piedmont Mountainside Hospital, Wellstar Kennestone Hospital, Wellstar Windy Hill Hospital, and The Foot Surgery Center at Windy Hill.
