About Dr. Kiara Francis
Dr. Kiara Francis is a podiatric surgeon with advanced training in comprehensive foot and ankle care. She earned her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree Summa Cum Laude from Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine and completed her Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Residency at Emory University School of Medicine, where she served as Chief Resident.
Dr. Francis has extensive experience in forefoot and rearfoot reconstruction, ankle fracture fixation, Achilles tendon repair, arthroscopy, diabetic limb salvage, wound care, and complex soft-tissue procedures. She has also contributed to research and academic medicine through national presentations and publications, earning a Third Place Award at the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons (ACFAS) Scientific Conference for her research on radiation exposure in podiatric surgery.
Originally from St. Croix in the U.S. Virgin Islands, Dr. Francis credits her upbringing with shaping her strong values of integrity, humility, kindness, and community. She brings these values to every patient interaction and is committed to providing compassionate, high-quality care.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Francis enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, reading, and practicing Pilates.
