Our Atlanta Podiatrists are Safely Seeing Patients During COVID-19

Atlanta Podiatrist COVID-19

We at the Ankle & Foot Centers of Georgia are constantly updating our safety measures during the COVID-19 crisis to ensure that patients are still able to get foot and ankle care throughout these challenging times.

Our metro Atlanta podiatrists have always placed our highest priority on the health and well-being of our patients and staff, and we have implemented additional processes and procedures at our clinics based on the most current CDC guidelines.

Some of our enhanced safety policies include:

  • Patients who do not require assistance must come alone, unaccompanied.
  • We encourage social distancing by reduced patient appointment times and allowing patients to wait in their car.
  • We are currently NOT accepting walk-ins we are asking all patients please be on time for scheduled appointments as this further helps to ensure social distancing.
  • Our staff and physicians are now wearing face-masks and we request that patients wear their personal masks as well.
  • We are screening patients before scheduling appointments to ensure we are not bringing anyone into our clinics with potential respiratory illness, extreme fatigue, difficulty breathing or shortness of breath. In these cases, we are simply rescheduling the patient a few weeks later based on the recommendations from the CDC.

Another option we have for patients in need of a foot doctor include virtual office visits known as Telemedicine. In this scenario, one of our industry-leading podiatrists in Georgia will meet with you through secure online conferencing. This is a great option for patients who do not have an urgent need, as they are still able to receive care, advice, medication prescription refills, and more. Our Telemedicine office visits are a great way to get you on the road to recovery quickly.

Our team of Atlanta ankle and foot doctors are dedicated healthcare providers treating patients safely amidst the corona virus pandemic. Make an appointment today by calling us at 678-902-0456, or CLICK HERE to schedule online!
