Sindhu Srinivas, DPM, MS, DABPM
About Dr. Srinivas
As a fellowship-trained foot and ankle surgeon at Ankle & Foot Centers of America, Dr. Srinivas aims to provide high-quality care and treatment for patients with complex lower extremity conditions. Dr.Srinivas has had extensive experience in limb salvage and reconstructive procedures with an emphasis on vascular surgery.
Dr. Srinivas is originally from Pittsburgh, PA. She completed her undergraduate training at the University of Pittsburgh and went on to obtain a Master’s degree from Georgetown University prior to attending medical school. Dr. Srinivas graduated from medical school at Barry University, and continued on as Chief Resident at Geisinger Community Medical Center. She then completed a Limb Salvage fellowship at the Atlanta VA Medical Center while working alongside Emory/Morehouse Vascular Surgery and Podiatric Medicine faculty.
Dr. Srinivas is passionate about advancing the field of podiatric surgery through research and education. Currently she serves on the communications committee advocating for podiatrists on the national level with the American Podiatric Medical Association. She further serves as a liaison and representative on the national level for the American Board of Podiatric Medicine. Dr.Srinivas believes in the fundamental principal of mentorship in medicine and is an active member of multiple Young professional Panels locally and nationally. In her spare time, she also is an active contributor and editor for the reputable Journal of Foot & Ankle Surgery.
Beyond medicine, Dr. Srinivas enjoys watching sports, playing tennis/pickleball and spending time with her family/friends. She started a book club in Atlanta and enjoys hosting monthly meet up’s in different areas.
