Dr. Shamir Bhikha, DPM, FACPM

About Dr. Bhikha

Dr. Bhikha was raised in Alpharetta, GA and after being away for over 10 years, he has settled back in his hometown. Having studied at the University of Georgia for his undergraduate education, Dr. Bhikha moved to Florida to pursue his training in Podiatric Medicine at the Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine where he graduated with honors and was the class valedictorian. He completed his 3-year surgical training at the Inova Fairfax Hospital, which included comprehensive rotations in Diabetic Limb Salvage, Reconstructive Foot & Ankle Surgery, Orthopedic Trauma, Plastic Surgery and Wound Care. He served as Chief Resident of the Podiatric Surgery service at Inova Fairfax Hospital and as the Chief Podiatric Resident of Plastic Surgery Limb Salvage at Georgetown University Hospital.
